Youth Summit 2019: For Students

April 5, 2019

  • « Auditions: This is My Brave
  • Youth Summit 2019: For Parents, Educators and the Community »

“Knowledge, Empowerment, Understanding“

Registration for sessions on Friday, April 5 is limited to invited students. Walk-ins will not be accommodated due to limited space.

The program on Day 1 will be built by youth, for youth, with guidance from the event planning team. Dartmouth-Hitchcock conducted youth focus groups to determine which topics are most relevant for students to explore.

Each public and private high school in New Hampshire will be contacted by the New Hampshire Department of Education, School Boards Association, School Administrators Association, Association of School Principals and NEA-NH to select four student ambassadors and an adult mentor to attend the event.

Over the course of the day, students will drive the discussion, with adult experts on hand to assist and introduce resources as needed. Special VIP keynote speakers will be part of the program to engage and inspire the audience.

Day 1 will conclude with a Film and Writing Festival and awards ceremony, hosted by Magnify Voices and Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Visit the Magnify Voices Film & Writing Contest website for detailed information, including film submission instructions.
