Town Hall Meeting for Families To Offer Guidance to Parents
How do you spot the signs of mental illness in young people? Where do you turn when you know something is wrong, but you aren’t sure how to find help? Is our system of behavioral health doing enough for young people? How do we break the stigma surround mental illness?
Inspired by national events, Riverbend is hosting a first of its kind town hall meeting for families. We have invited top officials from health care, hospitals, law enforcement and education to talk about the programs available, and to discuss with parents what our community can do to help our most vulnerable young people.
NH Safety Commissioner John Barthelmes, Concord Hospital ER Physician Mike Lynch, Assistant Principal Heather Barker, NH Medical Director of the Bureau of Behavioral Health Mary Brunette will lead a panel discussion with the community and answer questions about mental health from the audience.
