Amaris Jones

I’ve worked with adults and couples in my professional life, helping people who feel trapped by depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and substance use move toward insight, motivation, change and healing. I am passionate about building a caring and dynamic connection with each individual, and I value developing individualized approaches to best fit each client’s needs.

I used a combination of techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness to build awareness of thoughts and feelings while also providing concrete and empowering tools for daily life.

I have a Master’s Degree is Counseling and a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
