Residential Programs

Riverbend has three residential programs offering safe, affordable and supportive housing with varying levels of care for adults living with severe and persistent mental illness.

Fayette Street

Located in downtown Concord, the Fayette Street Housing Program provides functional support services to nine residents for sixteen hours a day.  There is no overnight supervision. The program is intended to assist consumers who, in the absence of functional support services, might otherwise be at increased risk of homelessness and institutionalization. Staff works with residents on managing symptoms of their mental illness and to develop social, cooking, and housekeeping skills.  Click here to learn more.

Mill House

The Mill House program consists of 19 private (one bedroom and studio) non-smoking apartments for individuals with low income who are in need of moderate levels of support to address their psychiatric symptoms and functional impairments. Trained residential staff provides supportive counseling, symptom management, crisis intervention, medication monitoring, administration and functional support services to residents in their apartments, the facility, and in the community. The program’s goal is to promote recovery at the highest level of independent living possible.  Click here to learn more.

Twitchell House

Twitchell House is a 15-bed residential treatment program for adults suffering from severe and persistent mental illness, whose symptoms interfere with their daily functioning to the point that they require 24 hours staffed care. Assistance is given throughout the day through supervision and verbal cues to aid in completion of Activities of Daily Living and to work together on each individual’s treatment plan and goals. A certified residence by the Division of Behavioral Health, Twitchell House is licensed annually by the State of NH, Dept. of Health and Human Services Office of Operations Support.   Click here to learn more.
