TD Bank Charitable Foundation Awards Grant for the Owen Farm Project for Children

Riverbend Community Health Center has been awarded a $6,500 grant in support of the Riverbend-Owen Farm Project for Children from TD Charitable Foundation. Granite United Way Awards Grant for Emergency Mental Health Services

Riverbend Community Mental Health has been awarded $75,000 grant in support of Emergency Mental Health Services by Granite United Way. This grant helps to ensure that individuals in psychiatric crisis have round the clock access to services from Riverbend at Concord Hospital’s Emergency Department. “Riverbend ‘s Emergency Services is a critical partner for Concord Hospital, and a safety net resource for the community in maintaining high quality, responsive, and critical psychiatric assessments, and emergency case management services to psychiatric emergency patients” said Camille Kennedy, Director of Behavioral Health Services at Concord Hospital.

Inside the Mind of Lincoln with The Honorable Frank J Williams

One in a series of programs celebrating Riverbend’s 50th Anniversary, Frank J. Williams, retired Chief Justice of the Rhode Island Supreme Court and a Lincoln Scholar, gave a lively and engaging presentation – Inside the Mind of Lincoln – on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at UNH Law School. “Celebrating 50 Years” events are designed to raise awareness and decrease stigma about mental illnesses such as severe depression, which President Lincoln is believed to have struggled with throughout his life.
