Concord Hospital Community Service Fund Trust Awards:

Two Riverbend Community Mental Health Programs received funding awards from the Concord Hospital Community Service Fund Trust in December 2013.  The programs serving our community  were: In Shape: People with severe mental illness (SMI) have a life expectancy that is approximately 25 years shorter than the general population in part because they have difficulty adopting healthy life styles, which include exercise and a healthy diet.  The InShape program addresses these major health disparities by offering unique and individualized support for behavior modification.
