Philosophy and Goals

Our program believes that parents are teachers, mentors and guides for children and that their job is to prepare children to be self-sufficient, fully-functioning and capable adults.

We approach discipline as a means to that end and promote teaching rather than controlling, consequential learning rather than punishing and dialogue rather than lecturing.

We believe in providing a nurturing environment for parents to learn this philosophy and for children to experience it.

Parenting is the world’s hardest profession, and childhood teaches life’s most important lessons.
