Children's Intervention Program
Philosophy
Riverbend’s Children’s Intervention Program (ChIP) provides quality, comprehensive, family-centered, and community-based behavioral health services to children and families. We work pro-actively to develop an individualized and comprehensive system of care for each child and family.
We believe that collaborating with families and community resources is critically important to attaining this goal.
Additionally, we believe that children are best served with access to high quality, comprehensive behavioral health services within the family and community environment.
After assessing each child, we develop treatment plans that will best meet the needs of the child and family.
We encourage parent/guardian involvement in every aspect of the process – including assessment, planning, and treatment – so we can achieve optimal success.
Our staff is experienced, caring and compassionate, and our services are flexible and creative.
Resources and services provided by Riverbend ChIP are part of a continuum of care for children. Effective treatment requires collaboration and coordination between the child’s family, primary care physician, Riverbend practitioner and other care providers, as needed.
