Training mental health professionals is an important part of Riverbend’s mission. We are proud to offer a formal, full-time, year long, training program for doctoral candidates in clinical or counseling psychology. The Internship Program in Professional Psychology (IPPP) is a member of the Association of Psychology Post-doctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) and is fully accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). This brochure describes the IPPP and explains procedures for applying. Candidates interested in pre-doctoral practicum training in psychology may contact the Director of Training for the IPPP, Joanne Linden, Ed.D., at email@example.com.
In addition to the IPPP, each year graduate students from a number of disciplines, including social work, marriage and family therapy, and counseling, seek training in our agency through master’s level internship experiences arranged around their particular interests. Students interested in internship training in other mental health disciplines should contact our human resource office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
